He served as the assistant researcher of Standard Office of Science and Technology Division of State Environmental Protection Administration; Consultant expert of Industrial Technology Economy Division (Pairs) of United Nations Environment Programme; Deputy director of Air and Noise Pollution Control Office of Pollution Control Division of State Environmental Protection Administration; Director of Institute of Environmental Standards of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences; Deputy director general and chief engineer of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.

He is responsible for the comprehensive investigation and preparation of environmental protection log.
